If your job requires you to perform the same motions over an extended period of time, you may begin to experience pain as a result of that repetitive motion. This type of injury often occurs in the the wrists, elbows, shoulders and knees. Repetitive motion injuries can qualify for Kentucky workers’ compensation benefits. On the other hand, if your doctor is telling you it’s arthritis or simply a symptom of old age, your red flag should go up. Explain the type of work you do and ask if it could be work-related. In many cases, it is.
